That sexy gray fox, Anderson Cooper, was recently on Jay Leno where he dished about going gray, the YouTube debate, his mother's [Gloria Vanderbilt] dating life, and his dislike for hot liquids.

The "Coop" compared his early gray to premature ejaculation. "I started [going gray] young. It's funny. It's like premature ejaculation. You know it can happen, but when it actually happens to you it's kind of a shock."

YOUTUBE DEMOCRATIC DEBATE - GAY MARRIAGE: Anderson Cooper hosted the recent YouTube Democratic debate and here are the responses from the candidates when asked about same-sex marriage.

The much awaited search for Police Chief Nannette Hegerty's replacement is closer - as of Monday - to a finalist. Chief Hegerty is leaving her post in November. The field consists of four internal candidates and four outside candidates with significant experience.

The four internal candidates include:
• Denita Ball, a deputy inspector since 2005 and with the department since 1985.

• Ramon Galaviz, a deputy inspector since 1996 and with the department since 1982.

• James Harpole, a captain since 2005 and with the department since 1985.

• Brian O'Keefe, a deputy chief since 2003 and with the department since 1981.

The remaining candidates come from outside of Milwaukee - some not very far away - and a few of them have "not quite squeaky clean" histories. Ralph Chiczewski worked for the Chicago Police Department since 1973. Thomas McGuire comes from Washington D.C. where he has been since 1979. McGuire was also a finalist for chief in Greenville, South Carolina. Leonard Supenski spent his time in Ypsilanti, MI and Baltimore. The most damning candidate, Louis Vega, jumped around several districts. Vega spent most of his time in New York City Police Department but left amid a controversy and went to Hartford, CT. He left there after allegely using a homophobic slur - which he has denied, but he promptly resigned. After that he went to Miami.

Though, I'm the first to say that the new Police Chief isn't the most exciting news, I do think it's important for all of us to be aware. I can't say whether Mr. Vega actually used a homophobic slur but it does make me not want him as Milwaukee's new chief.

Well, since Jake and Reese are officially over - as if they were ever on - it makes total sense that this just might be the time that he comes out. Rumors have it that the Gyllenaator is shacking up with chef, Chris Fischer.

The pair have been "childhood friends." Right, perhaps they also go on fishing trips. I wasn't so sure about this Chris guy at first either - so if you are in denial it's totally understandable. But, let's just get it all out on the table. Chris and Jake share Jake's Hollywood home. Last weekend the pair ran a marathon together in Martha's Vineyard. (hello, totally gay!) (totally kidding!)

The folks over at ohnotheydidnt compiled some great photos of the two of them. A few months ago Jake went on Jay Leno or some other late-night tv host and the next day Chris was wearing the exact same shirt that Jake wore the night before. Isn't that a clear sign that they are together??

I just watched the trailer for Jake's new thriller, Rendition, which hits theaters on October 19th and I must say not only does the Gyllenator look flawless but the film looks excellent. What perfect timing as well. Rendition which also stars Meryl Streep, Peter Sarsgaard, Reese Witherspoon, and Alan Arkin explores the issues of torture and detainment of American citizens. Hello, Gitmo!

And on a similiar but slightly different note - ATTORNEY GENERAL ALBERTO GONZALES ANNOUNCED HE'S RESIGNING! A press conference is scheduled for later this afternoon.

ANOTHER HOLLYWOOD DUI....
Austin Nichols, who's claim to fame is that he is Jake's preferred workout and basketball partner, was arrested in Michigan last week after driving the wrong way up a one way street. The young actor had a blood alcohol level of 0.10 - above the 0.08 limit.

Let's hope his bad behavior doesn't rub off on Jake. Check out his terrible mugshots!

I've been dreaming of this moment since I first laid eyes on Jakey - and according to one "source" the Gyllenator might be coming out this week. I highly doubt this but it sure is fun to think about.
